What we do with your information

Belfast City Council is the Data Controller under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for the personal data it gathers for the purposes of delivering events at 2 Royal Avenue.  It has contracted a company called MayWe to deliver this on its behalf. The Council accepts that you are providing your personal data on the basis of consent and are positively agreeing for the Council to hold and further use it.

The Council is committed to protecting your privacy and to processing any personal data submitted by you in a manner which meets the requirements of the UK GDPR.

Sharing your information with others

MayWe will use Eventbrite to process only ticketing for relevant events.  Note - If you tick the ‘Opt In’ box when arranging tickets, you may receive information that is not specifically related to Council Services and Events. Eventbrite may inform you about wider notifications, which are not for Council purposes, therefore, please ensure you are happy with these conditions before opting in.

How long we hold your information for

Personal data is held and stored by the Council in a safe and secure manner and in accordance with their Records Retention and Disposal Schedule.
